In this retreat we will explore the relationship of breath to body. The breath is like a bridge connecting our hearts to physical form and mental activity. The breath is a marvelous support to harness all 3 aspects and bring them into harmony and in so doing, steadying our mental sheaths. Through the use of simple, gentle flowing movements in space, classic yoga postures and an awareness of the texture, location and shape of our breaths, we gradually draw closer to a place of inner stillness and steadiness. Music and chanting is incorporated as a support. Walking, sitting, standing and lying meditation also forms an integral part of this retreat. No previous yoga experience is needed and all ages, shapes and sizes are most welcome.
