Exploring spiritual & Intuitive features in our hands

There are many features in a set of hands that highlight our search for meaning. Consciousness of non-material realms, interest in transcendence, the call to spirit, self-mastery, deep existential enquiry and overall spiritual intelligence are reflected in our hand’s shapes, lines, skin textures and dermatoglyphics.
In this month’s article we take a look two more of these features: Memory Loops and Empathy Loops. Both appear on Moon mounts.
Principles and characteristics of the Moon archetype are represented on the ulnar (baby finger) sides of hands; water-governed Moon mounts lie between Pluto at the base and Mars upper/Uranus mounts. The qualities of mother Moon are understood as being feminine, passive, reflective and receptive.
These hidden areas of our palms have no emerging digits. They are reservoirs of our subconscious, our deepest most subjective emotions and feeling responses to life, our imaginations, the dream world, our intuition and our sensitivity.
Interpretation of their forms and markings pertain to the mother relationship, nurturing, creativity, emotional health, intuition and awareness of non-material realms.
MEMORY LOOPS
Memory loops are water-governed tear drop shaped dermatoglyphics. The skin ridges which form the pattern flow from the radial sides of hands to pool on Moon mounts. A watery memory loop on a water-governed Moon mount adds water to water, the effect of which activates and increases the owner’s overall sensitivity.
The name ‘memory loop’ refers more to their owners as having access to deeper, more occluded memories that lie within the Akashic records and the collective unconscious than it does to short-term memory. We often find that those with this pattern have good long-term memories; they recall the past, especially emotionally, such as when kindness was offered, or when hurts were inflicted. Their short-term memories are perhaps less reliable.
With water being the most sensitive of the elements, memory loops are one of the most relevant signs in hands of their owners having keen intuitive faculties. Resonance with and awareness of non-material realms is activated in memory loop owners; this opens a great potential for advancing psychic aptitude. A memory loop is a definitive sign of both latent and active psychic and telepathic abilities in its’ bearer.
It is likely that people with this pattern will be drawn towards metaphysics and the esoteric. Owners often ask about their vivid dream recall; they are curious about symbolism and have an instinctive feel for interpreting their own and other’s dreams.
Along with their sensitivity to other’s emotions and motives, they have genuine sentiments and are nurturing and empathically attuned. These qualities merged with their cognizance of the non-material realms suggest that owners could work therapeutically to assist people to attain deeper states of self-awareness.
In nature, water seeks to merge with more water; the scientific principle of cohesion is key to understanding the water element. This unifying water characteristic of the pull to connect often applies to those with these lovely tear-drop shaped patterns. Other’s feelings matter to them, family relationships and friendships will be nurtured. Social participation is likely; memory loop owners make good networkers.

EMPATHY LOOPS
These alluring water-governed palmar loops rise from the base of the hand where the hand joins the wrist; they surge upwards and outwards towards the ulnar sides of Moon mounts, then recurve to outflow back at the wrist. They are also called a ‘loops of Neptune’, and “inspiration loops’.
Not all empaths have empathy loops, but those with this pattern do have receptive, kind, nurturing and compassionate responses to other’s needs. As their name infers, empathy loops reveal activated empathic responsiveness; owners are drawn to help and comfort others. Like true empaths, empathy loop owners are highly sensitive, fine-tuned, psychically open people who are instantly aware of other’s energy and who often feel other’s emotions as their own. Their constant sensing and absorbing of positive and negative vibrational nuance is draining
Empathy loops are helpful for those who channel information from higher consciousness. The energies of this glyph enhance the owner’s inter-relation with unseen realms. With the watery loop absorbing into watery Moon, emotional and intuitive sensitivity, a fertile imagination and all traits associated with Moon mounts are potentially activated.
