The Angels of Earth, Air, Fire and Water (12 mins)

This meditation is designed to connect with the elements and raise your conscious awareness. Sit in a comfortable straight-backed chair with your spine erect. Lay your hands softly in your lap with the palms upwards. Relax and be at peace. For a little while forget all your troubles and problems. Just enjoy the short journey you are about to take into the realms of light. Close your eyes and breathe a little deeper and deeper.

Let’s begin our meditation with the Great Invocation…

From the point of light within the mind of God, let light stream forth into the minds of men. Let light descend on earth.

From the point of love within the heart of God, let love stream forth into the hearts of men. May Christ return to earth.

From the centre where the will of God is known, let purpose guide the little wills of men. The purpose which the masters know and serve.

From the centre which we call the race of men, let the plan of love and light work out. And may it seal the door where evil dwells.

Let light and love and power restore the plan on earth.

Sit back and relax, putting all worldly thoughts out of your mind, go into that quiet space where you feel protected – that quiet space where you can connect with your guides and feel at peace. As you breathe deeper and deeper, you find yourself once again at the cave that you visited in our first meditation. This is the cave within your heart wherein dwells the altar of wisdom and the candle of love. On entering the cave, you immediately walk directly to the altar and become absorbed within the light from the candle flame. The brilliance of its radiance has expanded out beyond the walls of this cavern, so that you can feel the vibration of love filling your whole body. Rest for a short while within the glory of your own heart. Let the peace and tranquillity fill every atom of your being.

When you are ready, step out from the entrance and look before you. A vision of the earth has appeared, showing clearly the contours of countries, rivers and mountains. Your attention is drawn to the skies above, where many angels are beginning to take form. As they become clearer, you will see that they are composed of all the shining colours of the rainbow. Some are radiating the shades of nature, others the colours of peace or healing. All are enfolded in the golden aura of love and you will notice that they have gathered into groups, standing to the north, south, east, west and centre of our planet.

You are invited to join the angels who are standing to the north of the world:

You see and unite with the angels of the sun. And from their hearts flows the essence of life. As they unfurl their wings across the earth, they give to humanity the flames of power and the energy from the sun enters the hearts of men.

You are next invited to join the angels who are standing to the west of the world:

You see and unite with the angels of the air, and from their hearts flow the breath of life. As they unfurl their wings across the earth, they give to humanity the winds of wisdom, and wisdom enters the minds of men.

You are now invited to join the angels who are standing to the south of the world:

You see and unite with the angels of the water. From their hearts flows the nectar of life. As they unfurl their wings across the earth, they give to humanity a river of love, and man opens his arms to the glistening waters.

You are again invited to join the angels who are standing to the east of the world:

You see and unite with the angels of the earth. From their hearts flows the sea of eternal life. As they unfurl their wings across the earth, they open the eyes of humanity to the vision of eternity and man kneels before the glory of his Creator.

You are lastly invited to join the angels who are standing in the centre of the world:

You see and unite with the angels of joy. And from their hearts flows the music of harmony. As they unfurl their wings across the earth, they give to humanity the notes of peace, and the melody of brotherhood enters the soul of man.

The whole planet is now covered by a host of heavenly angels and as you look the figures of the Master Jesus and the Master Kuthumi appear within the circle of divine messengers. The Master of the Piscean Age unites with the Master of the Aquarian Age and brings deliverance to our unsettled globe. The light of love streaming down onto the world is so intense that you have to avert your eyes from the brilliance. Your own heart centre has expanded and opened to combine the blaze from your soul with the radiance now enveloping the entire earth. All darkness has vanished and only the exaltation of God’s blessing remains, as you see before you the miracle of our world’s transformation and redemption. You gaze once more towards the Masters as they raise their hands in praise and thanksgiving. You are filled with a sense of divine contentment and composure. You realise that all your earthly troubles and problems are brief and transitory. They are just lessons that will pass and decline into insignificance.

This revelation dims and slowly fades away, leaving you once more within the cave. Rest for a short while, reflecting on what you have seen. It is a vision that you can use many times to succour and assist Mother Earth, helping to transmute darkness into light. In your own time, gently bring yourself back into your everyday surroundings. It has been a very powerful meditation so you must enfold yourself very strongly in a golden cross of light held within a circle of light.

Let us end of this meditation with this beautiful prayer for peace :

Lord, make me an instrument of Thy peace;
where there is hatred, let me sow love;
where there is injury, pardon;
where there is doubt, faith;
where there is despair, hope;
where there is darkness, light;
and where there is sadness, joy.

O Divine Master,
grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console;
to be understood, as to understand;
to be loved, as to love;
for it is in giving that we receive,
it is in pardoning that we are pardoned,
and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.

Amen.
