Most of us know that as the energies of the Universe shift and change, it is possible to feel the shifting and changing as it happens. The majority of us are connected to social media and there are many posts, videos and articles on the internet on the subject of being an empath and how because you’re an empath, you feel the energies more intensely. But is this actually the case?
Firstly, what exactly is this energy that is being referred to? The Universal Energies that affect us all are essentially the energies that are emanated out into the Universe from everyone here on the earth. As our moods change and our outlook and demeanor changes, our attitudes towards life changes, so we send out energy into the Universe. We all know that for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. What this means is that for every positive wave of energy that we send out into the universe, there will be another positive wave of energy formed to be redirected back to us. By the same token, for every negative wave of energy that is sent out, so another negative energy wave is redirected back to us.
This ebb and flow of energy swirls around us at every moment of the day and it goes without saying that we are going to be affected by it all the time. So whether you believe yourself to be an empath or not, you will feel the affects of both negative and positive energy around you. Picture yourself standing in the sea somewhere around where the waves are just about to break and imagine how the water has the capacity to move you as and where it’s momentum takes you – so it is with Universal Energy. And essentially being labelled an empath just means that you have the capacity to be more aware of the ebb and flow of the energies around you.
Of course, there is also the energy of the sun, moon and stars that have a role in the effects of the Universal Energies as well, making it quite complicated when you think about the fact that at any point in time, not only are the people around you sending out energy waves into the Universe, but every celestial body that exists is also sending out it’s energy. No wonder people find it difficult to cope!
With all the different energy flowing around you, I hear you asking, how is it possible to bring some control into your life – just to have control over your own little universe? Well, you can. And how you do this is through becoming completely in tune with yourself and connecting to your higher self and the Universal Consciousness in a way that it becomes a part of who you are. As with anything that happens around you, if you don’t have a handle on it, you know that it’s going to affect you in some way. And sometimes those affects are positive but more often than not, they aren’t. No-one wants to feel like they’re bobbing around in the waves at the mercy of the ocean that is so great and so powerful, that we don’t stand a chance against it. Having some kind of lifeboat or life-saving device to hang onto in that situation, will give you a much better chance of surviving the onslaught of the ocean. So too will your connection in to yourself and your higher self, create a life-saving device that will help you to navigate the energies around you.
Because when you are connected and in tune with your true essence (your higher self), you create a balance within yourself. And you’ll know when the balance is created, because you will feel deep within yourself, a calm and controlled sense of being. And through that calm and controlled sense of being, you will know without a shadow of doubt that you are the one in control of your own life. You are the author, the navigator, the actor and the audience. You are the one in the drivers seat so to speak and you have the capacity to map out your life (understand the path that you chose), because this map has already been written and you will have the capacity to move yourself forward along this mapped out path. And when you are completely in control (and you will slip from time to time and that’s okay) you will see that whilst you feel the effects of the Universal Energies around you, you won’t find yourself constantly up and down, not knowing who you are and where you are.
