Over the years that I have been on my Spiritual Journey, I have met so many amazing people that I know I wouldn’t have met if it was not for the work that I do. When I was first inspired to start doing readings and teaching, I placed my faith in my guide who said, if I build it, they will come.
I have been privileged to be intimately involved in the lives of so many people. What a blessing for me to be entrusted in the way that I have, both from everyone here on the earth as well as those in Spirit. I personally have learned so much through my interaction with the many people that have reached out to me, whether it has been to attend meditation classes, a talk, a function or to come for a reading or healing. One of the biggest lessons that I have learned is that we are all the same and that we are all striving towards the same thing. It is everyone’s desire to be loved, wanted and needed; to feel validated and that someone cares. We all have such similar hopes and dreams and each one of us in our own way is working towards those hopes and dreams. We all get hurt in much the same way and I’ve learned that it’s better to think before you say what you think. I’ve come to understand that treating each other with love and respect and understanding that we all have our own path to walk and our own lessons to learn and at the same time, we can learn from each other’s experiences. When my children were small we always taught them that ‘sharing is caring.’ Over the years I have come to understand how much this really means and that a problem shared is truly a problem halved.
Walking aimlessly through life with blinkers on and leaving absolutely everything to chance will get you nowhere. Soon you will start to feel that your life is pointless and that cannot be further from the truth. Our lives are given to us so that we can do as much as possible with them. Whether what we do is to our benefit is entirely up to us. The Universe does not choose only some and ignore others. For the Universe is governed by the All Creative Spirit who loves each one of us unconditionally and never favours one over the other.
Our lives are our responsibility. Handing over our power to others is a disservice to ourselves. It does not honour the Creative energy that lies within each and every one of us. It demeans the self, our very inner essence that is meant to flow with great spark. And when we interrupt that flow because we do not take ownership of our self, we set ourselves up for disappointment and take the first step onto a journey that spirals ever downward dragging us with it and depleting our true essence until it is nothing.
Love yourself as your Creator does. Put no conditions on anything that you feel. Put no conditions on anything that you do. Reward yourself for even the smallest achievements. Never allow anyone to take away from you how you feel about yourself because of how they feel about you. Remember that what they feel is their issue and is not a reflection of you in any way, shape or form. When we allow our own opinion of self to be defined by others, even just for one moment, we are dishonouring ourselves and the God within.
Treat each other as your Creator does. Put no conditions on anything that others feel either. Put no conditions on what others do or what you do for others. Because by the same token, enforcing your opinion on others and expecting them to believe that your opinion counts, is also dishonouring them.
Everything has duality. And keeping top of mind that what we put out is what we’re going to get back, allows us to remain on a path that is filled with light and love. A path that ensures that we are ever only greeted with positive energy ever flowing through us out into the Universe and back. It keeps our mindset positive, our opinions positive and our understanding of ourselves, others and the laws of the universe is increased.
