Remaining positive in everything that you undertake, can be quite challenging. After all, we are only human (wink-wink) and it is easy to become despondent when things don’t work out. I am privileged to work with so many people who have so many great expectations for themselves. I applaud each and every one of you, who have tried and failed and got back up again and tried again.
Because, this is what life is all about. My guide will always tell you that behind every successful attempt at anything, be it your own business, or dieting or find a job that fulfills you – there will be at least a good couple of failed attempts. And that’s okay! Essentially these are not failings in the slightest – they are just something in your life that didn’t work out – nothing more, nothing less!
The one thing you have to believe is that if you build it they will come. And this applies to everything in your life. If you want anything in your life, you have to live your life as though it was already happening. I can think of many examples… if you are wanting to run your own business or start your own spiritual practise, you have to be that business or that spiritual practise. If you want to have a great relationship with someone who makes you feel like you belong and gives you unconditional love, you have to live your life as if you are worthy of such a relationship. And in doing so, you are building ‘it’ and ‘they’ or ‘it’ will come – it will happen.
I speak to a lot of people during their readings, and it’s astounding to see how many people are waiting for the right relationship or for the right job, or the right house to live in, the right country to be living in. And of course, the universe or to be more clear, our spirit guides, do help us to get what we want. But they certainly don’t expect us to sit idle any more than we hope they aren’t sitting idle bringing us what we want!
Everything in life is a negotiation and that goes for your relationship with your spirit guides too. Work with them to create the life that you want – please don’t expect anything that you want to just be dished up on a plate before you. Having unrealistic expectations of what the universe (your spirit guides) can bring to you, sets you up for disappointment. Imagine a scenario – you have bought yourself a car and now you want to get your drivers’ license. You can’t sit out on your patio all day, hoping that you get a drivers’ license – you need to learn how to drive and get yourself off to the testing station to earn your drivers’ license. This is the very same for anything that you want to achieve with your spirit guides or as it is so commonly referred to ‘the universe.’
Remember that what you pay attention to, you become conscious of. Or as is more commonly known, energy flows where attention goes. So, if you want your fire to burn brightly and with tremendous strength, then remember to place plenty energy into that fire. And as it gets more energy, so it will grow stronger and stronger.
Have faith in yourself and know that are powerful! You are after all, a direct extension of our Creator, the Great I Am and you can use that immensely powerful energy to bring into your life anything that you heart desires – know that if you build it, they will come!
