I make it a point to never speak about the content of my readings to anyone. Firstly, it’s so important that anything that comes through in a reading remains confidential.
People come to see me for many reasons, and very often it is just to connect with a loved one who has passed over. Without disclosing anything in any detail, I got to thinking that I just have to share with everyone, how hard our loved ones in spirit will work to come to us to bring us messages that bring us comfort.
Just recently I did a reading for a lady whose husband passed into spirit in this year, so not very long ago. He was incredibly convincing talking to her about very specific things in their life and about things that she has been doing since his passing. He took great pains to give her absolute detail of everything and the reading was filled with both tears and laughter. I’m always so amazed at how this process takes place, but I can tell you that this reading, in particular, leaves absolutely no doubt in my mind that it was this lady’s husband to whom we had connected. There was someone that my sitter was particularly hoping that her husband would be reunited with, and this too was confirmed, right down to his nick-name being given and the very strange and confusing circumstances around this gentleman’s passing as well – leaving her with no doubt that it was exactly who she wanted him to be.
But here’s the ringer! And excuse the pun… When it was time for her to leave, she asked what happens now? Will my husband remain with me or return to his ‘heaven’? I simply stated “He’s going home with you.” And right at that very moment, her phone’s gps came on and the very clear direction “turn right” was blurted out from my sitter’s handbag! If that isn’t proof that our loved ones continue to live on in the spirit world and that when we set aside the time and make the effort, we can communicate with them and more importantly they can communicate with us. What could have been a very sad reading, ended on a high note with my sitter leaving, so confident that the man she had loved for so many years, was in fact still with her and would never leave her.
Readings like that can be so gratifying and bring so much comfort to the sitter. We’re always left wandering what has happened to our loved ones, are they happy, do they remember us and do they come to visit. Please don’t ever think that the bonds of love are ever broken. Even if you’re not able to communicate yourself, or you don’t feel comfortable getting a reading to have someone communicate on your behalf, just know that your loved ones continue to share your life and they really do know what is happening in your life.
I always say that if the loved one in spirit is a great communicator, the reading will be exceptional and if the sitter feels that connection and becomes part of the process, the connection is strengthened even more.
