It is said that there are twelve spirit planes which surrounds the earth, each progressively brighter, yet even the higher planes are places of continued learning and of greater service. From my perspective, I have no way of telling that this is true. There are many people with different opinions and I would say that this certainly is opinion, and not fact – I do however, stand to correction.
We really do not know too much about the highest and brightest of these spirit planes. Life upon the higher planes is too far removed from our own for us to understand whilst here on the earth. Those who dwell within the very highest planes have long since gone beyond the need to take upon themselves the discomfort of expression of flesh, yet they continue to serve the plan of the Creator. These higher spirit beings use their greater light and understanding to guide those throughout all the planes below them. Since greater learning always entails greater service, ones with the intermediate planes are often sent into the lower regions to help ones who are asking for light, yet they are always guided and protected by those within the highest spirit planes. The general rule is that higher spirit beings can see and go into all the planes which exist below them, yet they have very little knowledge of that which lies above them. This will continue to be the case, until they reach the point in their development, where it becomes possible.
Those who we might call our ‘guardian angels’ or ‘spirit guides’, are from these spirit planes. They are assigned a specific mission, which is to be the guiding light of those who are still progressing towards the same dimension. They understand how to lower their vibrations so that their form might be, from time to time, seen by the human eye – certainly within the mind’s eye of the human. However, they are not only concerned with the Earth, their efforts are also directed to all of the lesser planes.
While the brightest planes are inhabited by spirits of very great light and understanding, it is important to realize that these are not the higher dimensions of life as we might want to think of them…these are not dimensions having to do with all creation. These are the spirit planes of the Earth, as one planet with its corresponding planes of spirit development. All within these planes are part of this present cycle of the Earth, and all continue to be part of the Earth until this cycle is completed.
On the Earth, we are all spirit beings from the very many planes of spiritual existence, now embodied in flesh for the duration of time we get to spend living out this earthly existence. It’s interesting that when we leave the earthly existence, we don’t just go directly to the higher dimensions of life – we simply return to the planes which surround the earth, where we all continue our preparation for enhancement. The cycle continues ever evolving, ever moving us all forward and upward through the spiritual planes of existence, until that time, when we reach perfection and no longer have the need to live out another earthly existence.
