When trying to find out information about the spirit world, whether you do a google search or you look for a book to read, you will mostly be confronted with a whole lot of information about the different levels of the Spirit World and you will hear about the Ascended Masters, the Arch Angels, the Lords of Karma etc. Whilst that information is valuable and does help with understanding, I thought that today, we should take a look at the spirit world, through the eyes of those who have departed and come back to share their experiences through my readings. I have been extremely blessed and privileged to be part of so many communications with loved ones who now reside in the spirit world. So this article presents a very different perspective and much more personal account of what the spirit world is and what happens there. Something I’m sure a lot of people think about.
It’s very encouraging to see how far we have come and how it’s almost become common place ‘knowing’ rather than a ‘belief’, that communication with the spirit world is possible. Not in the way that Hollywood portrays the spirit world to be, but in fact, a beautiful place where those who have passed through this world reside. It is a place from which we all come and a place to which we will also all return.
Just as the physical world here on the earth is complex and comprises people on various levels of life, so too is the spirit world. I have done numerous readings where loved ones have come through and told their families that the spirit world is absolutely beautiful. They have reported that ‘heaven’ was exactly what they expected it to be. Many spirit beings have told my sitters how perfect their world is now, how much they felt so at home, the moment their souls left their physical bodies. They tell of a place of unconditional love and beauty that cannot be conceived with the human mind. I have heard so many spirit beings tell of how they were met by their spirit guides and their loved ones who had passed before them, to help them to pass into the spirit world. Also how they have been helped to acclimatise to a new level of vibration.
From what I have heard, directly from spirit to my sitters, is that so much compassion is shown. How they were, in some instances, taken into a place of what has sometimes been referred to as a spirit hospital, sometimes as a holding place or place of waiting. In this space, Angels and Spirit Helpers have worked with them, to heal their souls affected by extreme illness experienced on the physical plane. Where they have been helped to overcome the need for the drugs and alcohol to which they had become so accustomed and reliant on, whilst in the physical world. These Angels and Spirit Helpers, along with Spirit Guides, have spent much time working with these souls to examine the life they have just lived. To help them understand the choices they made, as well as the effects of those choices on the souls with whom they contracted to live out a physical manifestation. It feels like it’s a kind of marking of your own paper, to get to a point of understanding and to assist in terms of what to work on and experience in the next physical existence – should they decide to come back to the earth.
I have found it so interesting to hear how as spirit beings, our loved ones are given the choice as to what they want to do in the spirit world. Many choose to help others along their spiritual journey. This makes perfect sense to me, because as we work in service to others, so we evolve and grow as spirit beings. So they choose to work with those in the spirit world who have lost their way, who require assistance in getting to the various hospitals and places of healing. To those places of self-examination and discovery. They help other spirit beings to connect with their loved ones in the spirit world, as well as to connect and communicate with their loved ones on the earth plane. They choose to work with the Angels to bring healing to the world, to bring healing to spirit beings in the spirit world and to bring healing to those here in the physical. For instance, where they had experienced substance abuse here on the earth, they are now in a position in the spirit world, to help those on the earth struggling with the same problem. Where they were nurses and doctors on the earth, they continue to assist from the spirit world, bringing healing and inspiration to those administering to humans here on the earth.
Our image of a little angel sitting on a cloud, playing a harp, or doing absolutely nothing, is simply a cartoon and I say that with love and a smile. Because everyone is the spirit world, keeps themselves busy. Some spirit beings even still go to their favourite pub or restaurant where they felt like they belonged. Many go to their homes or to the homes of their loved ones left behind here on the earth. Their intention is not to ‘haunt’ to ‘disturb’ or ‘scare’ or ‘threaten’ or ‘hurt’. They come with absolute unconditional love and they just feel like they still want to be part of the life here on the earth that they left behind. That doesn’t mean either, that they aren’t making spiritual progress, because they can still choose to do their work in spirit, and visit the earth, their loved ones and beloved places. I know that it can feel like a strange concept to many. However, if you think about the fact that we are all spirit beings. We all have an energy that is connected to our physical body and that is our soul. And when we leave this place, when our body dies, our soul simply returns to the spirit world. So we continue to exist along with the love that we’ve shared and along with the experiences that we have had.
