It feels so much to me like the whole world is waiting to exhale, we’re all waiting for that point where we can go ‘shew, we made it through!”
From my own spiritual perspective, I find it so interesting that Covid-19 has affected the whole world – it’s not possible to not be touched by it whether it be actually contracting the virus, or experiencing the consequences of it being in your environment. In essence the whole world has shut down to various degrees and on various levels. And while we so need to remain unbelievably cognizant of what is required of us as citizens of the world, to contain and manage the virus, I think this is also an opportunity for us to all set aside time to focus inward.
There is nowhere to lay blame for this virus – as humans I feel we always want to find someone or somewhere to lay blame, because it helps us to rationalize and explain to ourselves how we have become involved in a particular situation. What I do feel right now is that all of humanity has to step up to the plate. We all have to take responsibility for our own lives and I know that this is something that I bang on about all the time.
If we think back only a few years to when we started to move out of the influence of the sixth ray and into the influence of the seventh ray, we knew that the seventh ray is very demanding. What it’s energies demand from us is that we take responsibility for our lives and for the choices that we make. It is the ray of ceremonial order and boy have we been forced into ceremonial order in just the first few months of this year alone!
It’s time for us all to re-evaluate every aspect of the part that we play on this beautiful planet earth. We need to take control of our emotions and stop allowing ourselves to be ruled by our fears, our prejudices and acknowledge that we are completely in control of every single thing that happens in our lives. It’s time for us to practice gratitude and where we previously allowed our knee-jerk reactions to always be the same, where we previously saw ourselves as victims and where we previously allowed ourselves to stand outside of our lives, playing small, we can no longer do that. The manner in which this virus has spread, has shown me just how interconnected we all are and absolutely highlights for me how much we are all the same, no matter what nationality, what religion, what personal believe systems we have, whether we’re rich or poor and where we reside in the world.
Accepting change is not easy. However, at the present time, not accepting change or not changing the way in which you conduct yourself on a daily basis, could have fatal repercussions and I cannot emphasise strongly enough, how important that is.
o what to do – set aside every morning to meditate. Connect with yourself, your higher self, the universe, whatever your interpretation is of that inner you who influences the production of dopamine – which is our feel-good neurotransmitter—a chemical that ferries information between neurons. See what you can do to help to uplift people in your community whilst practising social distancing – quite a challenge. We are so fortunate to have at our disposal, digital communication systems, so why not use them. Send your loved ones regular messages to let them know you love them. Create family whatsapp groups if you don’t already have one. Create friends whatsapp groups and keep in contact. Offer to do shopping for your elderly neighbour. Send out healing and love into the world through your thoughts and your deeds. And be patient with each other. Know that we are all dealing with uncharted waters, none of us have ever found ourselves in a situation like this and our reactions to it are all going to be different. Try to re-assure each other and offer encouragement and cheer each other on where we can.
