A well known saying goes…
We all do, but it’s too big a task.
Now what? Do we leave it as it?
Do we try and fail?
Do we leave it for the next generation?
Do we hope the rapture, or Armageddon happens before then?
What
Do
We
Do?
One thing:
Notice.
Notice our behaviour, notice our contribution to the problem, notice when we blame, notice when we don’t pay attention, “sommer” everything….and you will see your relationships are a microcosm of what is going on in the world…
So, if we want to change the world, we start with relationship to self, the circle out to our near and dear, and circle even wider to friends and family…strangers and colleagues…. people we pass on the street, at the mall.
Let’s focus on a kindness, begin by taking off all the burdens you have loaded on yourself, don’t worry life will take care of it somehow… relax into this beautiful planet, nature, the balmy breeze, the fragrant flowers, or the soft eyes of a child, allow it in. We are so busy rushing and doing, that we disengage entirely from our mind-body whole unit… no wonder the world reflects the disconnect we have so vividly, in wars, hate, disrespect, brutality, ignorance?
Wake up your awareness of your senses, sit with it… revel in it, all on the inside of you. Practice this with diligence, freedom, trust and allowing, and see what changes, for you, for now. Relate it back to yourself, bring the inner conversation of appreciation to the fore.
Come on, let’s do a huge personal person by person experiment, and see what we can affect, first in ourselves, then the homespace we live in, and how we relate to others, in small ways, in a gentle look, in a softer touch. Slow down, it’s the only way we are going to win the war on ourselves on this gobsmacklingly beautiful rock we are floating on through space.
Join me, glide with me, ride with me, slowly down the experience of starting with self-kindness, gentle awareness, of what gifts of beauty and wonder your Mindbody was made to allow in…
We are killing ourselves off at an alarming rate, mentally, emotionally, spiritually, physically, sensually – we are numb, unaware, zoned out, avoidant…. and if you look carefully, the inner is being reflected in the outer. Join me, lets clean and beautify this inner world each of us live in… it’s the only place to start, real honest, soft, wonderfully human… I love you.
