As we ring in another new year, my beautiful Spirit Guides are pressing for unity and solidarity. If we have learned anything these last two years, it is to stand together, to see ourselves as one united force working together for our combined ascension, as well as for the sake of our personal relationships. I have done so many readings where loved ones are in conflict – husbands and wives working against each other and wondering why they don’t have a loving a united relationship.
Communication is key to our relationships. Expressing what you want and how you expect to receive what you want, isn’t selfish – it’s vital. When we are clear in our communication, there is no room for conjecture or speculation. And we all know that where conjecture and speculation exist, mistrust also lives!
Trust is the one thing that we all have difficulty with. We are hardwired to see danger all around us, especially when we are in a situation where we do not have the answer. We are working with a brain that is millions of years old and even though we may have evolved spiritually, our human brain is still programmed to seek out sabre tooth tigers! We freeze when we come into contact with a snake and spiders make us run from the room – why? Because it is part of our DNA, it is who we are physiologically. However, we have moved from living in the wild, we have moved into a very different environment and so when we find ourselves seeing danger and feeling mistrust, we have to take the time to ask ourselves, if it is real, or is it just us defaulting to what we inherently know.
Mistrust in relationships is probably the number one reason why they don’t work out. And I’m not only talking about romantic relationships, I’m talking about those at work, with our families, our siblings and the people who work for us. We forget how easy it is to see the beauty within. And so this year, Kevin (my one spirit guide) is saying to us, please make it your mission to find the beauty within everyone with whom you come into contact. Please don’t forget that the people you love, those people who are in your life and sharing your experiences, are your soul family. They are the ones who committed on a soul level, to be here on the earth with you and they are the ones who have committed to walking this life with you and share in your spiritual growth. And by the same token, they are the ones who your soul committed to as well to do exactly the same.
Together we implore you to see yourself as part of the bigger picture and to work together with others to create the perfect world that we all long to have. It will come, with conscious commitment, there’s no reason why we can’t live to see it happen.
