There comes a time in everyone’s life when the question is asked : What is my soul path? What is my soul’s purpose? These are usually preceded by some kind of life-changing event. Something that happened to make you stop and take collection of your life, something that made you wonder why is it that you’re here on this earth, what are you meant to be doing and are you actually doing it.
Very often when you feel dissatisfied with your life choices, then these questions start to bubble from deep within. When you feel challenged and unfulfilled, these questions will begin to come to mind. But why wait until you’ve kind of hit rock-bottom before asking these deep and meaningful questions?
It’s about getting in touch with your true essence. It’s about connecting to who you really are and understanding that person. It’s about accepting that you are here for a particular purpose and getting to grips with what that purpose is. What can be confusing or disappointing, is that we probably all feel like our soul purpose should be some major life-altering mission that affects the entire universe. Instead, we should be looking at what it is that we do that we’re happy with, that fulfills us and makes us feel like we’re making a positive contribution to our own life. That’s your soul purpose, your soul path. To fulfill your own life – what a simple but foreign concept. It doesn’t always have to be about everyone else. For the most part, it’s about you and so how do you make contact with that piece of you who knows exactly what your soul path is, what your purpose is.
- Take time to meditate
- Take time to commune with yourself
- Take time to be compassionate and understanding with yourself
- Learn to love who you are through understanding the why – why you react the way you do, why you feel the way you do, why you want what you want, why you have what you have
- Get your head completely around the fact that you are in control of your life – take control
- Don’t allow yourself to be led by your fears – work through the fear and know that they are just the unknown
- Familiarize yourself with your connections to your soul family
- See the lesson in every situation that arises that creates a challenge for you
- Hold onto your power
- Trust that you are the creator of your own destiny and learn how to control how you create your own destiny
- Be open to change. Embrace change that comes your way. Embrace change that you need to affect within yourself. Accept that change is going to be the only constant in your life and it is good for you!
- Know your limitations, but don’t allow yourself to be restricted by those limitations
- Want more for yourself and expect more for yourself
- Know that perception and awareness play a vital role in your life, because what you perceive becomes what you are aware of and in turn that becomes who you are
- Believe in yourself and trust that the choices that you make are for your highest good and that way you will know that you are on the right path
- Don’t be afraid to discard anything in your life that doesn’t work for you.
When you get up in the morning and feel passion for that day and for what is to come, you will know that you are on the right path.
Brene Brown says this about life purpose : We are hardwired to connect with others, it’s what gives purpose and meaning to our lives, and without it there is suffering. Connection gives purpose and meaning to our lives. If we want greater clarity in our purpose or deeper and more meaningful spiritual lives, vulnerability is the path. The ability to feel connected is how we are wired neurobiologically. Connection is why we are here–it gives our lives meaning and purpose.
