Your Ego is Fake News

If you love your Ego and still haven’t seen that it is the root of all your turmoil and problems, then skip this blog; maybe save it for later when your efforts to get your life managed are exhausted and you run out of “solutions”.

You still read on? Good for you, because you are part of an awakened minority that has realized that whether they like it or not, to mediate between the Ego and the rest of reality is a never ending drama of self-delusion, self-deception, manipulation, hopes & disappointments, lies, rejection, resistance, unhealthiness, despair, vanity, stupidity and so on and so forth.

There is a moment in one’s life when the first dawn of awakening happens, when the first consideration that it might be you and not the others that cause you all the misery and troubles.

This is the beginning of awakening and the end of “bliss of ignorance” (which is a myth of course).

Now you are in trouble about your troubles; before you just had troubles and met them with fighting, changing, fixing, tweaking, replacing, hoping, etc.

Now what?!

Well, that passage of awakening is a usually very long one. Your Ego still has a lot of disguise going on and pretends successfully to be you. You then think you are in charge, but you’re not. You believe you are awakened, but you’re still mostly asleep not seeing that your Ego now has become a spiritual Ego.

Only by your life’s unfakable reality you could see that your Ego still runs the show, meaning you are still a single because nobody can stick it out with you. You are unable to attract and maintain abundant circumstances, you are still having this voice in your head no matter how hard you try to meditate. You still have a consistent discord amongst your four bodies (your emotions are not in harmony, your mind is still producing negative thoughts, your body is not in harmony and your energy (spiritual) body is weak.

I said this part of awakening is usually quite a long ride, because the ways of the Ego, once it is threatened by a rising awareness that more and more discloses its real nature, are extremely subtle, cunning, delusive. It knows how to convince you that it is your best friend. It knows how to show up as your “higher self” because it learned the spiritual concepts and jargon in lightning speed.

The uncensored playground for these “fake Selfs” is social media – anyone can pretend and get away with it. “Freedom of speech” has got a new sibling: “Freedom of pretense”. And there is no victory disclosing a fake Self. It is spiritually savvy enough to turn the tables, tweak the facts and if nothing helps, well, get a new audience.

Now what?!

You can’t kill your Ego. Why? Because it doesn’t exist. It’s an illusion. How can you kill something that doesn’t exist?

So stop the nonsense of trying to better your Ego or annihilate it.

The only way out is by immigrating into awareness, but a complete awareness – so complete that you are safe, once and for all. This awareness is the only real deal. It is in you and all around you, no need to go someplace.

The bubble within this omnipresent awareness that is known as the Ego is the only place from which to escape from.

How?!

Any move you make is the Ego pretending to be you trying to liberate yourself. Can you see that? Seeking to see the fakeness of your own Ego in totality (meaning: everywhere, every time, under all circumstance without exception) is the right position to put all your energy on. Once you have arrived on that level of maturity you come closer to the hard borders of your invisible prison.

Now what?!

Keep disclosing the fakeness of your Ego in totality (don’t fool yourself, or your journey just got a couple of years or life times longer).
Get the right help to speed up the process. (NB: “Pretty words are not true; true words are not pretty” – LAO TZU)
Meditate the right way to dig a tunnel of awareness through the walls of your rock solid beliefs and illusions.
Pray and cultivate faith that ‘the Greater’ reaches out to you and pulls you into freedom.

That’s it?!

Yes it is.
