Grouding Letting Go Picking Up Remembering

Teachers : Sumedha, Milo Burn and Mbali Marais

During this retreat you are invited to gather in the beautiful natural setting of Dharmagiri to listen deeply and thus enter the new year with a healing presence. The Buddha taught that a heart imbued with both love and wisdom naturally recognises and lets go of unwholesome intentions and develops wholesome intentions. We will engage in both Buddhist practices of meditation, ethics, and contemplation — particularly on the themes of Right Effort and the Bodhisattva Vow — as well as practices and ceremony based in indigenous African knowledge — all of which may support us to connect heartfully to our life with love and wisdom.
