Over the last few months, nine out of every ten readings I do, is to connect to someone who has passed over from Covid. These people have had no chance to say goodbye properly, some of them not even being allowed to visit their loved ones in the hospital! For those left behind, this is absolutely devastating, to say the least. When someone you love is taken away from you, placed in a medical facility and you have no idea of knowing whether or not you will ever see them again, is probably one of the most difficult things that you’re ever going to have to deal with.
Someone asked me yesterday what exactly are the guides doing to bring this turmoil and devastation to an end? And it’s an interesting question, but for me, the question should be what are we, as a nation, doing to bring this turmoil and devastation to an end? Our guides are there to help us through our lives, and they bring to us healing and inspiration, unconditional love and they help us as much as they can. They are the ones who work with the Angels and the Lords of Karma to bring through inspiration and new ideas for medical breakthroughs – without them, we probably would not have come this far in terms of getting a vaccine ready and half the world already vaccinated. They are working tirelessly to help those souls who have crossed into spirit, to acclimatize, to familiarize themselves with where they are and to get over the trauma and the heartache that they feel also because they didn’t expect to not have an opportunity to say goodbye to their loved ones they left behind. Remember that when we cross into spirit, we don’t suddenly become something different. Our love for our families and friends remains and binds us to those left behind. We feel more profoundly in the spirit world than we do on the earth – just imagine that!
So in spirit, we have the guides helping those who have crossed, working to bring through healing to those who need it here on the earth and then still focusing on those to whom they are assigned to help them through their life. That’s a huge ask. And going back to the question, what are we doing as a nation, from my perspective, we probably aren’t doing enough.
This life we are living is our responsibility and so easily we hand over to someone else or we look to someone else to take control of our lives – and it just doesn’t work like that. Your precious life is yours and yours alone. You can and always should, ask for help from your guides and from the angels, but every decision that you make and everything that you undertake, must be because it’s what you want and not what your guide has advised you to do. They are not here to tell us what to do – they are here to support us.
So my heading of this article is how do you bounce back? When you are the one who has been left behind, and you had absolutely no idea that the last time you saw your loved one, would be the absolute last day together on this earth? To lose a loved one to spirit, changes who you are. There is a piece of you taken away that you will never get back, not in this lifetime. To lose someone to Covid is a double-blow, because so many young people are leaving the earth because of Covid and we never expect to die halfway through our lives. It is our expectation that we will live to a ripe old age and then you hear about people passing, age 42, age 30, it’s so hard to wrap your head around.
But you can bounce back and how we do this is to take the now person that you are, and make that person better. You live your life in absolute gratitude every day for what you have and how much love and support you have. You give gratitude to everyone around you for their contribution to your life. You give gratitude to your spirit guides for their love and support and their caring and their inspiration in your life. And you see the person next to you as someone who is dealing with the same challenges as you – you don’t see them as another nationality, another colour skin, another culture. You realise that we are all here to serve a purpose and you start to do the work to realise what that purpose is and when you get it, you live your life with purpose. You don’t shirk off every responsibility given to you, you don’t let opportunities pass you by because you don’t believe in yourself enough, you don’t forget to tell someone how amazing you think they are. You don’t forget to say I love you when you say goodbye, because you never know, today may be your last day.
