According to Wikipedia Meditation is : a practice where an individual uses a technique – such as mindfulness, or focusing the mind on a particular object, thought, or activity – to train attention and awareness, and achieve a mentally clear and emotionally calm and stable state.
Meditation has been practised by many different cultures throughout history. The long-term benefits of meditation have been scientifically proven and these include :

These forms of meditation are usually done through guided meditations that allow you to use your imagination to take you on a journey of self-exploration or sensing a temporary altered state of mind. We can use guided meditations to assist with falling asleep and helping to balance sleep patterns and eliminate insomnia.
Meditation is used to raise one’s vibrations to develop a stronger connection to the universal consciousness, our guides, our loved ones who have crossed over, the angels, our higher selves and those spirit helpers and ascended masters who inspire us and guide us in our every day lives.
Through meditation one learns how to connect to loved ones in a way that messages from the world of spirit can be delivered to help with grief and to uplift us and confirm for us that the bonds of love are never broken. That we are forever bound together through love and knows no divide.
Through meditation we learn how to connect to our guides and know who our guides are. This connection when made really strong, is the perfect way for us to receive help in our day to day life, to receive inspiration and guidance as to how we are doing, what decisions we should be making, when we should be making them and what the possible outcome could be.
