Deepen self-awareness to discover mindfulness practices best suited for your child’s needs (recommended for 6-18 years). Help your children develop greater self-awareness and emotional resilience. During the course they attend weekly hour-long classes which include an experiential study of:
– Specific areas of the brain and how these affect our ability to focus, make good choices, recognise when we need to steady ourselves when our body or mind is busy or out of balance.
– Ways that mindfulness can support them in many day-to-day activities, including concentration and memory, behavioural self- management, and in relationships with family and friends.
– Ways to respond rather than react – and therefore make better choices and take best care of ourselves.
This course follows the Mindful Schools curriculum and is a certified course.
Date of event: Kids (5 – 12 yrs): Mondays, 8th May – 3rd July;
Teens (13 – 18 yrs): Wednesdays, 10th May – 28th June
