With so many different meditation methodologies, it shouldn’t be difficult for anyone to find one that works for you – a method of slowing down your thought-process and bringing quiet and harmony into your life. Thought my meditation 101 would help you to make an informed decision.
You meditate through Yoga, Mindfulness and Focused Attention Meditation (which is essentially guided meditation). Other forms of meditation are Opening Monitoring Meditation and Effortless Presence just to name a few.
No matter which form of meditation you choose to practise for yourself, the end result will always be the same. Because through meditation, we learn to connect with our Soul, our Higher Self, and the Universal Consciousness. Through this connection we become aware and that’s the purpose of meditation. For through awareness, we become so much more attuned to everything – ourselves, our relationships, nature and the world in which we live. We develop an understanding of life and see without clouded vision. All judgement ceases, all disharmony disappears and instead, we have a sense of inner calm and peace that we didn’t even know exists.
Through meditation, we raise our vibrations and clear away all negative energies that sits within our auras and keeps us focused on the grey clouds that we build up around ourselves. When our vibrations are raised, we see above the grey. We see the ever-present light of the Great I Am and we connect ourselves to the higher levels of resonance and we draw that pure amazing light into our mind, body and soul.
Through drawing in the light of our Creator, we make ourselves whole once more and everything in our lives just falls into place. We understand that there is nothing that can separate us from our connection except the restrictions that we place on ourselves. We realise that we have the power of our Creator within ourselves and that we can create a world for ourselves that is in balance, devoid of negative emotions and dark and dense auras.
