Hello Folks 🙂 This is a wonderful opportunity to spend time alone and in a prayerful space in the ancient Hogsback forests.
A VISION QUESTS is a RITE OF PASSAGE, and can be a turning point in your life. Leaving your mundane concerns behind so that you can call out to Great Spirit for visions that contain your gifts and, if blessed, your purpose. It is an initiation, a time to be alone in your sacred and introspective circle with Nature. Even before you arrive, you being to make bundles in which you will place your prayers and intentions. They will eventually form the circle which will form the center, the axis mundi, of your quest..
Each quester has an ally from the Wounded Healer Workshop who will be in service, providing the water ration, and supporting them as they both enter into their personal process work.
The WOUNDED HEALER WORKSHOP runs for 4 days concurrently during the Vision Quest.
The medicine wheel is used like a compass to find the spaces which need attention. We journey, using the Eastern Cherokee Red Road method as taught by Ay Gdvardi Waya, into these places to ask for the gifts that can provide healing and clearing.
Here we will enter into Wounded Healer work, the Nekyia, which is at the crux of the Shamanic Initiation and the path of Individuation. It is an initiation into the Shamanic way of life and practice (service). Part of your service will be to know where your ally (a vision questor) is, and to take them water on the 2nd day, keep them in your prayers. Our wounded healer work begins with medicine wheel work. and journey work. after the vision questors leave camp on Friday morning. You can see more of what you will be doing in the program below.
Yehuda and I, Lyn Spirit Eagle, look forward to sharing this work and our space with you in the mysterious forests of Hogsback. Base camp will be here on our beautiful forested property. The property is large enough to vision quest if you do not want to be out in the wild forest that surrounds us. We will all sleep and vision in the arms of the Cloud Forest Reserve.
